 Meet  our Pastor
Pastor Chet Cooper
Pastor Chet was born and raised in Georgia. He was saved at the age of twelve and three years later God called him to preach.  After graduating from Faith Christian Academy in Ellenwood, Georgia, he attended both Baptist University of America in  Decatur, Georgia, and Gwinnett Hall Baptist College of Lawrenceville, Georgia. In 1984 and 1985 he served as youth pastor at  People's Baptist Church in Tucker, Georgia.
During this time he met his wife Annette and they were married in January, 1987.  One month after getting married, he began a ministry as Minister of Music at Harvest Baptist Church in Monroe, Georgia.  Harvest Baptist Church ordained him June 26, 1988. From 1990 until 1994, he was in a ministry of missionary evangelism making nine trips to Romania, three trips to Jamaica, and holding meetings throughout the United States, assisting struggling  churches and preaching in youth camps, revivals and mission conferences. In October 1995, the Cooper family moved to Canada and served for the next eight years in a ministry of church rescue and revitalization. He served as missionary pastor at Emmanuel Baptist in Dryden, Ontario and Victory Baptist in Fort Frances, Ontario. Victory Baptist Church of Fort Valley,  Georgia contacted him in 2003 and asked him to come as pastor. Their family arrived in March 2004 to begin their ministry at Victory.

Pastor Chet and Annette have been blessed with nine children. Their chidren are Clayton, Timothy, Travis, Joshua, Aaron,  Jared, Hannah, Issac and David.

Psalm 127: 3-5, "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed,  but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
